About

Fan-made gear for a project we're all watching

We run the Bears in Indiana Stadium Watch — an independent tracker following the Chicago Bears' proposed move to Hammond, Indiana. Soil testing, site selection, funding structure, every real step. Each claim on the tracker links back to its source so you can check the original reporting yourself.

This shop is the other half of that project.

Why a shop at all

Following this story closely for months, one thing became obvious: a lot of people in Northwest Indiana are paying attention, and there wasn't much out there for them to wear.

So we made some. Original designs — the Indiana silhouette, the bear, Section 219 — drawn for people who live here and are watching this unfold in their own backyard.

Not official gear. Fan gear, made by a fan.

What we're honest about

The tracker has a rule: no hype, no invented certainty. The countdown clock on the site says "aspirational" because that's what it is. The board voted to advance the Hammond project — that isn't a commitment to build, no site is locked, and nothing has broken ground.

Same rule applies here. We're not selling you a done deal. We're selling shirts for a thing that might happen, made by people who'd like it to.

If it doesn't happen, you've still got a good hoodie and a story.

How it's made

Every item is printed on demand by our production partner and shipped directly to you. That means no warehouse full of unsold inventory, and it means designs can be added as the story develops.

It also means shipping takes a few days longer than a warehouse operation. We think that's a fair trade.

Follow along

The tracker is the main project — status, timeline, candidate sites, funding breakdown, and an FAQ that answers the questions people actually ask.
